Changes to my study program
Hi there! Today I'll write about some changes that I could made to my study program. First of all, I'm studying Antropology specialising in Social studies. By the beginning of the carrer you have to do two years of basic course where you have to study topics of the three specialities: Social Anthropology, Bioanthropology and Archaeology and later you have to do two years of the speciality that you choose. I really like this order of the study program because you can learn about another topics that have direct realation with the carrer that you will choose, also you can learn about interdisciplinary work and studies that, I think, will be useful when I go out of the carrer and I have to work with people of another disciplines. Also, I know the basic knowledge about archeaology and bioanthropology so I can realeated my future work with that, but we have some courses that are so basic, for example "biology" that I really think aren't necessary for the rest of the career.
On the other hand, I don't like about the career that we don't have enought outland work and the career in general it's focus on the academic knowledge and not on applied research. So I think that when we'll go out and have to work on outland with the people we'll not have enought practice on this kind of work, because the career is focus on the production of academic knowledge. On the career we have only a few outland works, something like three or four as maximun.
That's all, see you nest week.
antropology sounds a little caotic, hope someday they can fix the specialty cicles
ResponderEliminarI understand to you because in my career something similar happens and is so focus in the academic knowledge!
